1. Editorial nature of content

The Site publishes editorial information about international visa and entry requirements. Content is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal, immigration, tax, or travel advice. No reader-publisher, attorney-client, or advisory relationship is created by your use of the Site or by downloading any free resource.

2. Verify with the issuing authority

Visa, ETA, and entry requirements change frequently and can vary by individual circumstance. Before traveling you must verify all requirements directly with the relevant government authority. Only the issuing authority is definitive. We disclaim all liability for travel decisions made on the basis of our content.

3. Independence

World Visa Directory is an independent research and information service. We are not affiliated with HM Government, the Home Office, the U.S. State Department, the European Commission, or any embassy, consulate, or government agency. We do not process visa or ETA applications and we do not act on behalf of any traveler in dealings with any government.

4. Affiliate links

The Site may contain affiliate links to third-party products and services. If you click an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Any transaction you enter into with a third-party merchant is solely between you and that merchant and is governed by their terms. We are not a party to that transaction and accept no liability for the products, services, pricing, fulfillment, or conduct of any third-party merchant.

5. No purchases on this Site

We do not currently sell any product or service directly through the Site. Free resources (such as downloadable guides) are provided in exchange for a valid email address and your consent to receive related editorial updates, on the terms set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. No warranty

The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, currency, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall World Visa Directory, its owners, officers, employees, or contributors be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including without limitation lost profits, lost data, denied boarding, refused entry, missed connections, or travel costs — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, the content, any free resource, or any third-party link, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Acceptable use and intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, downloadable PDFs, and the organization and presentation thereof, is owned by or licensed to World Visa Directory and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and download content for your personal, non-commercial use. Content may not be redistributed, resold, republished, scraped, or used to train machine-learning models without our prior written permission.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
